A practitioner who has built exceptional businesses.
Keonie Moore is not a business coach who teaches practitioners. She is a naturopath who turned a $5,000 loan from her mum into one of Australia’s largest naturopath and nutritionist clinics, and now mentors the next generation of clinicians to build profitable, purpose-driven businesses.
Work with Keonie
From her son’s illness to a new path
Keonie became inspired to become a naturopath through her son’s recurrent illnesses. Illness after illness, antibiotics after antibiotics, she started to ask: what else is there? After seeing the dramatic improvement in her son’s health under naturopathic care, she knew this was her path.
She graduated with a health sciences degree and no business skills. Like the accountant who opens a firm or the hairdresser who opens a salon, she did not start a business because she wanted to be an entrepreneur. She started one because practising as a naturopath required it.
The night that changed everything
Three years in, she locked the clinic door in tears. It was the 3rd late night that week, and the to-do list kept growing. She was busy with clients but not making a profit. She was the practitioner, the marketing department, the bookkeeper, the stock manager and sometimes the receptionist.
Passion is not a business model. And burnout doesn’t serve patients.
That was the realisation no one had taught her. We have been conditioned to think that making money conflicts with caring. Keonie learned the opposite: income is the currency of impact. If your income is not healthy, your impact cannot be sustainable. She stopped paying herself last and built a business that supported her, not just her clients.
What she teaches now
Today Keonie mentors practitioners across Australia and internationally, showing them that making a difference and making money are not in conflict. Impact and income are not opposites: they fuel each other. Everything taught within Make a Difference Academy has been tested, refined and proven in the real world. No theory. No fluff.
